OPENING DECEMBER 3RD!
Bronx Children’s Museum celebrates the natural curiosity, creativity and compassion inherent in all children.
Through play and learning, we nurture children to find their voice, fulfill their potential and connect to their communities, the Bronx and the world beyond.
At long last our new home in Mill Pond Park along the Harlem River will open on Saturday, December 3. We are very excited to welcome you in to the first-ever children’s museum in the Bronx.
SALSA LESSONS AND PARTY!
Saturday, December 3rd from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Bring a friend and learn the art of salsa dancing here at the Bronx Museum alongside professional instructors and live music in celebration of the history of salsa in the South Bronx. All ages and skill levels welcomed!
FAMILY DAY: WINTER WONDERLAND

Celebrate the holiday season with the Bronx Museum! Join us for an afternoon filled with festive art activities for the whole family.

The Eco Team is a cohort of scientists, policymakers, partners, students, and community members who are interested in learning about and supporting the ecological health of the Bronx River. BRONX ZOO HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Friday, November 18th through Sunday, January 8th
Join us for a family holiday festival at the Bronx Zoo. During the evenings, the park comes to life with holiday cheer as immersive light displays, custom-designed animal lanterns and animated light shows sparkle across the zoo. The celebration includes festive entertainment, seasonal treats, the Holiday Train, and classic holiday music. The walk-through experience is a beloved tradition, enchanting and fun for all ages.
NYBG GLOW
December 2–3, 9–11, 15–17, 22–23, 26–30 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Experience the magic of New York City’s largest outdoor holiday light experience.
This holiday season, NYBG GLOW returns for its third year. Discover the beauty of our landscape and historic buildings after dark, breathtakingly illuminated across the Garden. Building upon sold-out evenings the past two years, NYBG GLOW expands across even more of the Garden’s magnificent collections. And take in our fun-filled evening offerings with artistic, music, and pop-up performances around the Garden.
Round out your experience with an after-dark visit to the Holiday Train Show® under the glow of the Haupt Conservatory by purchasing a special combination ticket. Enjoy a drink, hot cocoa, and a bite to eat at one of our outdoor bars or the Bronx Night Market Holiday Pop-Up. And take in even more festive evening offerings with artistic performances around the Garden.

HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW

New York City’s Most Beloved Holiday Tradition Is Back!
NYBG’s Holiday Train Show—a favorite holiday tradition—has been making memories for over 30 years! See model trains zip through an enchanting display of more than 190 replicas of New York landmarks, each delightfully re-created from natural materials such as birch bark, lotus pods, and cinnamon sticks.
Plus, take in NYC’s largest outdoor holiday light experience at NYBG GLOW, returning for its third year with even more illuminated displays. Thousands of dazzling, energy-efficient lights and whimsical, picture-perfect installations reflect the surrounding gardens and collections, creating a spectacle not to be missed. These special evenings feature music, experiences, food, and more—making for the ultimate night out this season.
WBO WINTER WONDERLAND
Saturday, December 10th from 12:30pm to 3:00pm
Location: Williamsbridge Oval
Join us for arts & crafts, games and pictures with Santa! The center will be decorated to highlight holiday traditions from around the world, including; Christmas, Hanukah, EID, Winter Solstice and New Year.
