Located in the heart of Chelsea, NYC, Metropolitan Pavilion and Creative Studios combine historic charm with modern versatility, offering a range of spaces for events of all sizes and functions. From small corporate meetings of 50 people to large-scale events of up to 15,000, this highly-regarded venue features six unique spaces: The North and South Pavilion, contriving the eminent Full Pavilion, The Suite, The Gallery, The Level, and the newly added Metropolitan Creative Studios—a thoughtfully designed layout combining style and functionality to accommodate both professional meetings and creative pursuits. With flexible configurations, comprehensive services, and an accessible location, Metropolitan Pavilion is dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s clients by providing a seamless and elevated experience for every event.

Full Pavilion

Max Capacity: 1,565
North and South ground floor pavilions that can be subdivided into two separate venues, each with a private entrance and lobby. Elegant, polished oak floors are accentuated by charming Corinthian columns original to the turn-of-the-century building, giving the main hall rich, distinguished character. Total Square Feet: 25,000.

South Pavilion

Max Capacity: 965
The South Pavilion’s polished oak floors are accentuated by late 19th-century architectural highlights. Its private lobby (125 West 18th Street) is spacious and inviting with a contemporary design including burnished silver accents and a mint green terrazzo floor. Total Square Feet: 15,000.

North Pavilion

Max Capacity: 600
The North Pavilion’s polished oak floors are accentuated by late 19th-century architectural highlights. The stylish and exclusive lobby (110 West 19th Street) blends vintage loft elements and sophisticated lighting. Total Square Feet: 10,000.

The Suite

Max Capacity: 300
The Metropolitan Suite features warm wood flooring made from sustainably harvested oak and north and south exposures. Guests ascend by a broad staircase or 20-person elevator to the Suite’s distinguished lobby of cream notes, porcelain tiles, and double doors. Total Square Feet: 8,500.

The Level

Max Capacity: 300
The Level offers contemporary elegance with a fresh, versatile design, ambient lighting, and wood flooring. This space includes a catering prep area, green room, area for coat check, and access to a 3-bay all-weather loading dock. Total Square Feet: 7,500.

Max Capacity: 280
The Gallery provides a light, adaptable aesthetic with a seamless high-gloss floor gleaming day and night. This space features a catering prep area, green room, built-in coat check area, a 1,500 sq. ft. interior breakout room, and access to a 3-bay all-weather loading dock. Total Square Feet: 7,000.
