The Grand Ballroom

The Plaza’s fabled Grand Ballroom has long been home to landmark events, C-level conferences, and lavish galas. Over 50 years ago, A-list celebrities and society’s elite gathered in The Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom for Truman Capote’s “Black & White Ball”. This century’s equivalent, Saturday Night Lives’ 40th Anniversary After Party, brought together the modern day stars. CPS Events works to uphold the culinary mastery and personal service that has defined The Plaza and New York City meetings, events and celebrations since 1907. Total Square Footage: 4,800.

The Terrace Room

One level below the Grand Ballroom lies the Terrace Room, a setting rich with its own history and charm. Meticulously restored to its original grandeur, the Terrace Room holds some of the most exquisite architecture within The Plaza. The original crystal chandeliers made by Charles Winston (brother of famed jeweler, Harry), replicates those within the Palace of Versailles. Striking yet elegant, the Terrace Room truly is a jewel within The Plaza. Total Square Footage: 4,680.

The Edwardian Room

Located at the corner of Manhattans most desirable address, The Edwardian Room at The Plaza encompasses New York’s staple sights through large windows overlooking Central Park, Grand Army Plaza, the Pulitzer Fountain and 5th avenue. The Grand Spanish Renaissance Revival style space, with its paneled oak wainscoting, elaborate trussed ceiling, stenciled decorations and mirrors is available for private events accommodating up to 300 individuals with multiple set up opportunities. Total Square Footage: 2,500.

The Oak Room

Often referred to as a core piece of the DNA that makes New York City, The Oak Room at The Plaza provides an elegantly paneled, German Renaissance Revival-style space that takes you back in time. With frescoes of Bavarian castles and a grape-laden chandelier topped by a barmaid hoisting a stein hanging from the twenty-foot high ceiling, this room is unlike anything else available in Manhattan. Total Square Footage: 3,000.

The Palm Court

The iconic Palm Court at The Plaza was relaunched in 2014 with a complete renovation helmed by Master Architect Thierry Despont. The menu showcases classic American fare from morning to evening, and while staying true to its original design intent, Despont has brought the grand feeling of Central Park indoors with garden elements such as caning, large potted plants, four soaring palm trees and an oval trellised bar anchoring the room, creating an ambiance that feels warm, private and glamorous.

The Rose Club

The Rose Club has an elegant ambiance that embraces the past, present and future of this legendary hotel. Located above what was once the famous Persian Room that played host to such formidable acts as Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Liza Minnelli, the walls of this lounge have listened in on many unforgettable moments in music and entertainment history.
